Fish Curry

Method :

Mix lemon juice, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tbsp garlic paste. Coat the fish with the mixture and mari­nate for 1/2 hour.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish on high heat for 5 minutes. Remove fish from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, fry the onions and the remaining garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin, coriander, and carom seeds.

Cook for 1 minute. Add 2 cups water, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add the fried fish, green chilies, curry leaves and ginger.

Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh coriander just before serving.

Fish, boneless : 1/2 kg
Onions : 2, large, sliced
Green chilies : 10
Fresh coriander : 1/2 bunch
Garlic : 2 tbsp
Carom seed : 1 tsp
Curry leaves : 1/2 bunch
Cumin seed : 1 tbsp
Coriander seed : 1 tbsp
Red chili powder : 2 tbsp
Fresh ginger : 2 tbsp, chopped
Salt : 1 tsp
Turmeric : 1 tsp
Lemon juice : 3 tbsp
Eva Cooking Oil : 1/2 cup
